I didn’t get around to that final Christmas post I was thinking of writing…I got into resting instead.  REST…isn’t that the premise of my three Christmas posts anyway?  I hope you are finding rest on the eve before Christmas Eve.  I pray that you do.  To take that time to soak in His presence and peace.

Merry Christmas!

I am listing my Christmas posts here just in case you haven’t had the chance to read them:

Come, Let Us Adore Him

What To Give Jesus For Christmas

What Do You Want From Jesus For Christmas?

I hope they bring you much encouragement this season.

My Book Trailer

Before I sign off for the rest of the year, I wanted to share with you the book trailer I produced for my parenting book.  I am quite impressed with myself!  Leave a comment letting me know what you think!

I would love to do trailers for future books I plan to write.

Plans For Next Year

Speaking of the future…I’d love to share some ideas with you for my plans for next year.

Blog post ideas:

Some ideas for posts next year are:
* Encouraging our sisters in Christ
* Taking every thought captive
* Dealing with the past
* Parenting topics such as resilience, negative self-talk, comparison trap, etc.
* Abundant life – where is it?
* Thief of joy
* Marriage topics

Are there any specific topics you’d like me to address? Or find a guest blogger with expertise in an area? Let me know in the comments below!

Book ideas in the works

I’ve begun working on a new book to be released in the new year.  It is a devotional on the theme of HOPE. I’d also like to begin working on a book based upon the theme ‘The Heart of a Daughter‘. These two topics have been on the back burner for a while now.

Do you have any thoughts on a topic you’d like to see in book format?

ALSO – be looking for some new printables that will be available on my shopping page.  I am working on something I am very excited about right now!  I’ll give you a hint…I am making it because I think many of us have lost the dare to dream…

NY subway art watermark - CopyI just added a New Year’s printable subway art to my shopping page, too.  I did offer it to my subscribers for free…sign up for my monthly newsletters if you want both the Christmas AND New Year’s subway art printables for FREE.

One Last Thing…

GG_1000x1000Did you read my post last week on Trading Resolutions For Grace?  If not, you’ll want to check it out before all the resolution talk begins after Christmas.  This way, when you are asked about your resolutions…or how your resolutions are going…you can share the message of grace instead.

At the bottom of that post, I share some areas I long to change in my life as well as the opportunity for you to join me in working through a course called Grace Goals.

Merry Christmas!
