Change…not a word many people like. But it was something I knew I needed to do. I felt apprehensive about change. Who doesn’t? However, the weight had inched its way on my body and I knew it would be a huge struggle in getting it off! If I didn’t take action NOW, I knew it was just going to get worse. So, I put my ‘big girl panties’ on and did what had to be done. I got a membership to the local ladies gym. Over the next several months, I’ve had some amazing results from the small changes I have made. I want to share these changes with you over the next few weeks in hopes to encourage and inspire you to make whatever changes necessary in order for you to improve your health. The Low Down
I am not a ‘health nut’. Gluten-free, dairy-free or vegan (oh, those poor plants!) diets are not my style. Counting calories, eating low-taste diet foods and weighing portions is not going to work in my family.
Bac’n Puffs is still a weekly snack for me – no shame! Home-made donuts were on the menu a couple of weeks ago…and I ate them – without guilt!
I enjoy my food, especially my hubby’s cooking. He knows how to cook steak perfectly (maybe he will let me share his secrets)! I used to feel guilty if I enjoyed something like lobster with butter a little too much. But I don’t anymore. And neither should you. Guilt is not of God. There is only one source of guilt. And he is not a friend of ours. He is our enemy.
Are you ready for some freedom in this area?
There are probably fitness experts out there who are much better qualified than I am in getting you on a strict health path. Then again, how many of us have the time, energy, money and wherewithal to make those huge changes in their life that would be expected with a health and fitness guru? Not me, that’s for sure!
That’s why I am excited to share my simple tips with you. Things you can easily incorporate into your regular routine. Small changes that don’t break the bank and just make sense. Some of my ideas may even SAVE you money!

The Biggest Hindrance
We all have varying health issues that may affect our level of fitness and ability to achieve healthy weight loss. My biggest hindrance has been my thyroid. My thyroid is underactive, making it easy for me to gain weight and incredibly HARD to lose it. I have tried so many things to help my problem, which I will get into in a couple of weeks. And I absolutely can’t wait to share with you what is ACTUALLY working for me – even with my underactive thyroid!
