Have you made New Year’s resolutions only to realize that they are all about you?  No wonder why we don’t stick with them, hey?  I do get pretty bored of myself after a while.  So it is only natural that selfish resolutions quickly fade away…and then I just feel…empty.  I love how Lil from Embracing The Lovely helps readers refocus on how Jesus makes us complete in Him.  Check out What To Do When You Feel Incomplete In Your Faith for some good heart encouragement today – and download her FREE printable that is stunning!  And then check out the other blog posts that are linked up here!

I have another post for my feature this week!  When I read Kira’s post, I was reminded of the time when I finished my teaching degree and I had 2 little ones running around.  My heart was torn – I wanted to teach AND I wanted to stay home with my babies.  I applied for teaching positions, but nothing came of it.  I wondered why God lead me to attend university to be a teacher, helped me through (I tell ya – Finite math was NOT fun.  I burned all of my assignments when I finished that course!) – just to stay at home, without any work.  It was hard.  I doubted God.  I doubted I had heard Him correctly.  Fast forward 12 years and I see He had the BEST plan of all.  I have the best of both worlds!  So, Kira, be encouraged!  God has an amazing plan – what He has in store for your life is worth the wait.  Head on over to read Kira’s post, 5 Truths for Times of Waiting.

Lil & Kira, please be sure to grab this “I’ve Been Featured” image below and add it, with a link to this page, to your post so that your readers can celebrate with you!

Drum roll, please!

I am so excited to introduce our 2 new G&T hosts to you!  I have ‘known’ these ladies for about 2 years now and I love the heart they have for women and for the Lord.  Sarah Ann blogs over at Faith Along the Way and Starla over at starlajimenez.com.  Please help me welcome them to Grace and Truth!  I know they will be blessed by your blog posts as I have been and they will bless you in return.

Now for this week’s link up!  Let’s bless and encourage one another in our walk with the Lord.

Grace & Truth : A Weekly Christian Link Up

Grace & Truth exists to point people to Jesus! We hope this link-up will be a source of encouragement each and every week. If you’re a blogger our hope is that you’ll use this space as a way to meet new friends within the Christian blogging community. If you’re a reader our hope is that you’ll meet new bloggers that love Jesus just as much as you do! Most of all, we hope you’ll meet Jesus here.

  • Thank you for the feature and the encouragement! i fully trust God has a plan even if I don’t understand it right now.

  • Julie Moore

God’s plan definitely is better than ours, even when we can’t yet see how that might be. Thank you for sharing, Aimee! And welcome to the new Grace & Truth hosts! Looking forward to reading your blogs!

    • Thank you, Julie! I am so thankful for His plan for my life! So much better than I could ever dream! Opportunities and paths I never would have thought of – I never thought I’d ever homeschool my kids! I never even knew about homeschooling until I couldn’t get a job in a classroom!
